All cabins are air conditioned.
Rates
Summer rental is Saturday to Saturday. Cabins run from $125/night to $5300/week depending upon the size and location of the cabin. We are open nightly between Labor Day and Memorial Day.
Nightly Rental
We can rent by the night September to the end of May. We do offer discounts for multiple night stays in the off peak season.
Check in Check out time
Check in after 4pm. If you are going to arrive after 7pm please call to make special arrangements.
Check out is before 10 am.
CANCELLATIONS and Deposits
You are financially responsible for your entire confirmed reservation. A reservation is confirmed upon receipt of deposit. In the case of a cancellation, for any reason, including but not limited to, an act of God, personal, local, state or national emergency, our ability to return your deposit and mitigate any damages depends upon our ability to re-rent the unit and all others in the same catagory for the regular rate. Deposits are refundable less 10% of the cabin and or boat cost ($100 minimum per item reserved) after the cabin is re-rented and the new deposit is received. If the unit cannot be re-rented, you will be financially responsible for the balance of your stay.
The amount of the deposit is 50% of the cost of your stay.
In the non-peak season we will do our best to transfer your stay if weather is a factor.
Credit Cards
We accept Regular Visa, Master Card, American Express and Discover. We offer a 3% discount for paying with check or cash.
Extra Night Guests
$25.00 per night / $150.00 per week Each cabin has different cabin maximums. Infants and children count toward the cabin maximum.
Daytime Visitors
The resort is for our registered guests to use. If you are expecting a couple of day guests please make prior arrangements. There is a $15 per person charge. Day guest status expires at 7pm.
Minnesota State Law sections 327.10 to 327.13 requires everyone that comes to a private resort be registered.
Pets
Sorry pets have to take a separate vacation
We guarantee all of the cabins to be pet free and smoke free.
Water
We treat all the water with commercial softening and filtering. The water and is fine for coffee and drinking.
Camping and Tenting
Sorry we aren't licensed for camping or tenting.
Quiet Time
Quiet time is between the hours of 10pm and 8am. These means bicycles are put away and the fun is kept near your own cabin and campfire. (Courtesy to those with very young and those who want to fish really early.)
Smoking
All indoor spaces are smoke free. You are welcome to smoke outdoors.
Boats
Pontoons and boats with motors are available for rent and include a lift. Our docks are aluminum and electricity is provided free for your boat on the dock.
Lifts
We have small to large lifts, manual and electric, jetski, pontoon, fishing boat, and ski boat. We have great aluminum docks with electricity but we can not tie any size boat or water craft to the dock system. If you want to keep your boat in the water you will need to rent and reserve a lift. If you prefer to keep your boat on your trailer we have room for you to park your boat on the trailer in the north parking area.
Towels
Kitchen towels are provided. Please bring beach and bath towels. In the winter we provide bath towels.
**If you are coming from a distance we are happy to provide complimentary towels.
Fishing License
Fleet farm and Wal-Mart and Christopherson's sell fishing licenses.
Fishing licenses can be purchased on-line at the MN DNR website.
Bait
Lakes Area Bait is 3 miles south of us on highway 114.
Housekeeping Cabins
The cabin should be returned to us broom clean. Garbage taken to dumpster, dishes washed or dishwashers started and your personal items all removed.
Fish Cleaning Facility
We have a screened fish cleaning house with a freezer for fish waste. The 9 foot stainless steel double sink makes cleaning fish a breeze with hot water and soap to wash your hands and cleaning equiptment. The fish cleaning house is open May to September.
Parking
Depending upon the size of your cabin. We have room for 2 to 4 cars right by your cabin. We have room for all other cars in the north parking area.
Art Studio
You will have open access to the art studio and have 100's of projects to choose from. Resort guests pay only the actual cost of the project. The studio is only open to registered resort guests.
Laundry - Free
Washer and drier are available in the store. Laundry soap is provided and the use of the washer and drier is free. All of the big cabins have their own washer and drier in the cabin.
Kid friendly
Are you kidding.... We have 6 children of our own. We want the entire families vacation to be fun and have tried to plan for all ages.
Television
We have televisions in all the cabins with Direct TV satellite service and dvd players.
Movies
We have an ever expanding collection of DVDs that you may borrow to take back and use in the dvd players provided in every cabin. Currently over 600 titles to borrow from.
Jet Ski
You are welcome to bring your own jet ski. We have jet ski lifts available.
Jet ski operation must be in accordance with MN law. Hours of operation are between 9:30 am and 1 hour before sunset. A 150' no wake zone from any person or structure. We also ask our guests to operate the jet ski in the middle of the lake for safety and as a courtesy to those on shore.
Bedding
All bedding is included. We use our own high quality sheets. If you need a change of sheets during your stay just ask us for an exchange. Hide a bed bedding is available at your request. We have extra blankets and quilts. The beds are all pillow top mattresses.
High Chair and Pack and Play
We have 2 pack and plays and 4 high chairs. Let us know if you like to borrow these at no charge for the week.
Bicycles and water toys
Kayaks, hydro bike, paddle boat and bicycles of all sizes are available to use free with cabin rental. We have added men and women's' Schwinn cruiser bicycles. We even have toddler tricycles and a wagon.
